Giannicola Di Carlo is a pioneer and champion of organic winegrowing in Abruzzo which involves an almost constant battle against invasive insects. The estate’s commitment to organic farming is so strong that Ferrari used the philosophy of this winey as an inspiration for its new, environmentally friendly factory in Maranello.
The estate produces less than a million bottles a year but they include all the regional wine varieties and are DOC classified.
