Santa Tecla, near Aspromonte National Park
Managing Santa Tecla farm, Rita Licastro proposes a real well made EVO oil from the single variety Ottobratica.
Agricola Santa Tecla, whose quality is increasing, is placed on the hills halfway between the sea and the National Park of Aspromonte. The farm is run by Rita Licastro, who carries on an activity started in the mid-19th century.
The olive groves cover a surface of 15 hectares with 2,000 trees. In the last harvest 500 quintals of olives were produced, with a yield of 50 hectolitres of oil. There are two Extra Virgin selections, Santa Tecla and the Monocultivar Domina & Terra - Ottobratico, chosen by the panel.
