Zorzettig Oro, not only wine
Zorzettig family, well known for its wines Colli Orientali del Friuli Doc, produces also a very good extra virgin olive oil, Zorzettig Oro.
The Zorzettig are an important family of wine-growers, active for generations in Spessa di Cividale, in the heart of the Colli Orientali in Friuli. Here in 1986 Cavalier Giuseppe purchased an ancient farmhouse, still in use today, to gain profit from his previous experience.
Today his children Annalisa and Alessandro produce quality wines and very good extra virgin olive oil with the same dedication.
There are 2 hectares of olive grove with 650 trees. In the last harvest 23 quintals of olives and 3 hectolitres of oil were produced.
