La Ranocchiaia, in the heart of Chianti hills

A monocultivar extra virgin from organic farming: Correggiolo La Ranocchiaia, strong bitterness and definite pungency.
La Ranocchiaia is situated a few kilometres from Florence, on the road to Siena, in the heart of Chianti hills. It is a small family-run farm, managed by Gian Luca Grandis and Judyta Tyszklewicz, who aim at high quality, combining territory, typicality and modern techniques.
The olive grove covers 18 hectares with 5,200 trees, which produced 600 quintals of olives in the last harvest, equal to 100 hectolitres of oil. The Oil Mill is technologically innovative, and it works in respect of high hygene standards procedures. Harvested olives are taken to the oil mill within four hours to be processed.
There are two Extra Virgin La Ranocchiaia from organic farming which we loved: Selezione Grandis and the excellent Monocultivar Correggiolo.
