The Sottimano family estate in Neive has never been in the limelight. Rino and his son Andrea have preferred to work in silence and improve year by year through tenacity, passion and great skill. But remaining in the shadows will be no easy task now given the level of quality their wines have achieved. They cultivate their vineyards using organic methods (and will be organic certified in 2017) while the approach in the winery is non-invasive and increasingly ‘Burgundy-esque’.
