C’è anfora e anfora

The truth is when we hear about wines made using amphorae we instinctively go on the defensive. This because the use of this ancient method has been and is often ‘exploited’ for ends that are not always related to a search for quality and territoriality. This is not the case with the Gergei estate in southern Sardinia. Their wines are expressive, fresh and juicy beginning with this delicious Vermentino.
