The wines produced by the Benedictine monks of Muri-Gries have always been in the forefront of Bolzano tradition like the Lagrein (the legendary Abtei) and Santa Maddalena. But the talented Christian Werth, who has been their Kellermeister since 1988, it not one to sit on his laurels. His skill, passion and perfectionism makes him the first critic of his own wines, something equal only to his modesty.
For some years now he has been working to produce heartier whites and thus we have his magnificent Terlano Pinot Bianco. And there is more to come…
