The Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Tonì by Cataldi Madonna

A rich but elegant and incredibly long wine: this are the style of the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Tonì 2013 by Cataldi Madonna.
Luigi Cataldi Madonna is a baron as well as a philosophy professor, a cultured and intelligent man but above all one of the greatest producers of Abruzzo wine and year after year his splendid estate turns out some true wine gems. He has been able to bring out the best from the area around Capestrano and Ofena, between the provinces of L’Aquila and Pescara, which has incredible temperature variations between night and day, and the quality of his wines are difficult to match.
Our readers know him for the great Pecorino Frontone, but the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Tonì is excellent as well.
