The Imperatori project and Cabernet Sauvignon

The area of Frascati not only produces white wine as demonstrated by this Cabernet Sauvignon from Cantina Imperatori, the result of a project to relaunch local winegrowing.
Things have recently been happening in the area of Frascati and not just related to the wine of the same name. Certain varietals are proving to have great potential in this historic zone and this thanks to its hills that have good temperature variations, excellent ventilation and a volcanic soil which is mixed with clay and sand depending on the slope, all characteristics that can be exploited.
These characteristics have not gone unnoticed at the Imperatori winery that has embarked on an innovative project beginning with a very lovely, modern and extremely functional structure. It involves several varieties and the results have been most encouraging, as is the case with this Cabernet.
