The Castle Red Wine
The hills between Pisa and Florence are home to this some 1,100-hectare estate that has 350 hectares of forest (all within the Carfalo nature reserve) and 250 hectares of cultivated farmland along with vineyards and olive groves. Their oil – they own their own mill - is certified organic and their other products are in the process of being certified, while the talented enologist Lorenzo Landi is in charge of winemaking. The estate also has a magnificent resort created in a totally restored hamlet.
