That Cabernet by Count Tasca

A great classic among Sicilian wines, even if it's not made with indigenous grapes: the Contea di Sclafani Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 by Tasca d'Almerita.
Tasca d'Almerita is one of Italy’s most famous and prestigious wineries is today run by Giuseppe and Albert Tasca d’Almerita who are the offspring of Lucio and grandchildren of founder Giuseppe Sr., aka Conte Tasca. They have a vast and established line of production and use both native and international grapes which are interpreted with great skill and talent by enologist Laura Orsi with the consultancy of winemaker Carlo Ferrini.
