Ruffino’s new Chianti Riserva makes its debut

The latest wine from Ruffino, Chianti Riserva 2014, made its debut at Angelo Dandini’s restaurant L’Arcangelo.
A Tuscany-Lazio mix was selected by Ruffino for the presentation of its latest’s wine: Chianti Riserva 2014. It consisted of this typically Tuscan red being paired with the Roman cuisine of Arcangelo Dandini, the chef-host at the capital’s L’Arcangelo restaurant.
In this very Roman setting, in the central Prati district, Ruffino offered its new Chianti Riserva 2014 which came out to mark the 140th anniversary of the producer’s foundation and to be an ideal bridge between the past and present. It is, in fact, a descendant of Chianti Vecchio, produced since 1877, and its label reflects this with its slightly retro look. This latest wine from the La Solatia estate in Monteriggioni is not only a bridge between the past and future but also between the maturity of Chianti Classico and the youth of Chianti Superiore.
