Luis Seabra is definitely one of the name to look at in the Portuguese wine scene. In 2012 he quit his prestigious role as winemaker at Nieport to start his own adventure and moreover "to do what he loves for himself and not for other".
His philosophy is very simple: little intervention in the vineyard and in the cellar with the aim of letting speak the terroir. The term Cru on his wines is translated with "raw" and his goal is to produce wine that speak of authenticity and character.
