Panera Alta, a Roero Riserva with an attidude
Bric Castelvej is a traditional winery family run where they produce wines of great attitude like this Roero Panera Alta Riserva 2013.
This classic Roero estate was founded in 1956 by Domenico Gallino and is currently run by his son-in-law Mario Repellino together with his son Cristiano, a young and talented wine expert. They have 11 hectares of vineyards and production is centered on the typical wines of the area, thus above all Roero, Roero Arneis and Barbera d’Alba. The style is predominately traditional with particular attention paid to not using herbicides and as little other treatments as possible. The wines have personality to burn.
