Mystery wine
Cantina Il Nuraghe di Mogoro was founded back in 1956 and for a long time was one of Sardinia’s most avant-garde estates before it went through a difficult period. In recent years, under the supervision of the young expert Daniele Manca, it has rebounded in regard to quality and even sales thanks to an ambitious line of new wines. Behind this was the focus on of exalting local varieties beginning with Semidano di Mogoro, a grape that has surprising ‘Nordic’ characteristics and a distinct personality.
