Heroic viticulture

Salvo Foti is the real prophet of Etna winemaking and his winemaking can be considered heroic. After many consultancies, here is an autonomous project, run with the help of his son Simone. Everything is inspired by the respect of the vines, cultivated at extreme altitudes, the are over 70 years old and have ungrafted roots and are planted at a density of 10 thousand plants per hectare. Furthermore there is no use of chemical products in the vineyards nor in the cellar. The result are wines with slight imperfections, really excusable, but with an unforgettable charm.
