From Pecorello grapes to the Grisara by Ceraudo

The Pecorello is a white grape variety from Calabria, maybe a Greco clone, and Roberto Ceraudo produces a great version of it: the Grisara della Val di Neto.
Although small, the quality of this winery near Crotone has been growing significantly. It is run by the Ceraudo family who have followed the dictates of organic farming for over 20 years. They mostly cultivate local grapes and their winemaking method seeks to exalt their best characteristics.
