Complex and seductive
The estate of Antonio and Savino Benanti is fundamental for winemaking on Etna where they work with passion and love for this land high above the sea made of nervous rocks and wind. This is evident when listening to Antonio talk about his wines. Pietramarina is exceptional, a smoky and brackish white, as is Bianco di Caselle, a fresh and taut wine to be drunk “by the bucket”. Among the reds is Serra della Contessa, a complex and seductive Etna Rosso.
