Christelle’s Muscadet

The wait for a serious and expressive Muscadet de Sevre et Maine is finally over. Christelle Guibert together with her sister Corinne is producing this beautiful gem from Loire. While many producers in the area are looking for quantity and many of their wines result anonymous, Christelle and her sister had in their mind only to produce a great Muscadet. Their Melon the Bourgogne is grown in the village of Monnieres, south of Nantes, following biodynamic principles and from a 1HA vineyard planted in the 50s on gneiss soil. They teamed up with Vincent Caillé, one of the most experienced winemaker of the region.
