Celebrated Milanese attorney Paolo Nodari created his country getway a stone’s throw from Amelia, near the border between the regions of Umbria and Lazio. Castello delle Regine (Castle of Queens) has an excellent location and has been transformed into a beautiful holiday farm with a restaurant that produces its own prime ingredients, including Chianina beef. The wines are decidedly valid and made with the complicity of renowned enologist Franco Bernabei. And last not least there is the ‘queen’, Livia Colantonio, Nodari’s life and work partner who handles the business side.
