Born as a hobby

Towards the end of the 1970s, Paride Chiovini took over his grandfather’s as a hobby. At the time his grandfather had been selling his grapes and bulk wines to producers in the area. Paride became interested in winemaking and after working at a chemical laboratory that worked with wine he decided to turn his hobby into a real job and profession.
He firmly believes in the potential of his territory and has exclusively cultivated local grapes. Today he produces some 10,000 bottles a year of wine made for the most part with Spanna, Vespoloina and Uva Rara grapes.
