An impressive and absolute novelty

Over-100-year-old vines grown on a volcanic plateau where the sandy soil is so fine it becomes dusty on the surface and it is here that Giovanni Ascione gave birth to his latest creation: Polveri di Scarrupata (Scarrupata Dust). It is a white wine that encompasses dreams, challenges, experience and discipline and represents a small district of Terra del Volturno. The vineyard is between the towns of Castel Campagnano and Pontelatone and together with the centuries old, ungrafted vines of Asprino, he has planted new ones of Fiano and Pallagrello Bianco to produce a wine with great character and personality.
