A white wine to wait for
Sella&Mosca winery in Alghero is changing shape. To begin with it has chosen to bet on the great grape varieties from Sardinia selecting old vines from the most vocated areas. The main part of the vineyards is changing completely substituting the highly productive clones with the ones more vocated to quality. Last but not least the organic conversion of all the vineyards and considering that we're talking about 540 hectars you can easily immagine the meaning of a similar choice.
The Torbato is a classic variety of the Alghero area and the Cuvée 161 rapresents the selection. A regret that this great white wine is released to soon on the market.
