Giuseppe Gabbas is a spirited and laid-back winemaker of few words and the ironic look of someone who has seen it all during his life and is not surprised by many things anymore. His estate is in the heart of Sardinia and a few kilometers from Oliena on the slopes of Monte Corrasi, in an uncontaminated almost disturbingly powerful place. His winery produces three of the most elegant and refine versions of a grape that defines the region: Cannonau.
The wines are fresh and Mediterranean and yet austere, magnificently drinkable and have an unmistakable personality. Over the past four-five years the stylistic definition of these wines has increased in an amazing way.
