Gerardo Valdobbiadene Le Colture, dedicated to the founder

The Ruggeri family has its roots in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene and here they produce the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg Gerardo Brut 2015, austere and complex.
The Ruggeri de Le Colture family has owned this estate in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene since the 16th century but it was only in 1983 that Cesar Ruggeri began producing sparkling wine there. With the recent involvement in the estate of his three children – Silvia, Alberto and Veronica – the estate has gain a new impetus towards quality production. The estate has a total of 40 hectares of land that is divided into 16 lots in the best areas of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG appellation and this allows then to produce Prosecco wines with different characteristics.
