Cantina Ricco: nostalgia of the land

Cantina Riccio owner Giuseppe De Marco took over his family’s Irpinia estate with the intention of producing quality wine.
Childhood memories of his grandfather working the land are what convinced Giuseppe De Marco to go back to winemaking. Cantina Riccio is immersed in the green landscape of Chiusano di San Domenico, in the heart of Irpinia, where it sits at an altitude of 700m above sea level and enjoys an enchanting view.
My advice is to visit the suggestive winery and taste its wines, which have a distinct imprint of the land. Here I have selected a Greco di Tufo because it immediately expresses the estate’s philosophy, which strives for quality.
