The full name of the estate is the Altarocca Wine Resort and the winery is an annex to a splendid hotel set amid the vineyards where aside from accommodation you can also use an excellent spa. It is located a stone’s throw from Orvieto, on Rocca Ripesena which faces the medieval city. The range of wines is good and promising with an honest quality/price ratio.
