Cantina Gennaro Papa vigneto Falerno del Massico

The Papa family produces bold, profound and complex wines, like this Falerno del Massico Campantuono, in the ancient area of Ager Falernus.

The Papa family has been making and selling wine since 1988 at a farm that dates back to 1900 in Falciano del Massico, in the heart of Ager Falernus. The winery is run today by Antonio Papa who with commitment and passion carries on his family’s tradition of producing the over-1,000-year-old wine Falerno.

The six hectares of vineyards are rich in clay, stones and sand and are not far from the sea and their grapes allow the Papa winery to produce bold, profound and complex wines with a freshness that upholds their great structure and makes them easy to drink.

Along with their two versions of Falerno del Massico – Conclave and Campantuono – in a few years they will also offer a Falerno del Massico white made from Falanghina grapes.
