Being an extra brut this has no sugar residue and is thus quite blunt. It is made with only Glera grapes from the Maser Hills near Treviso. The wine is made in stainless steel were it undergoes a brief maceration on the skins while an autoclave is used for 60 days to produce the effervescence. It is quite bubbly and has a clear straw-yellow color with a delicately intense aroma with notes of pear, Renetta apple, white melon, elder and gorse. The mouthfeel is lively, fresh, lithe and citrusy.
