Vorberg 2010 Pinot bianco Riserva

As always generalizations are open to exception but 2010 will be remembered for a long time in Italy. This bottle is no exception even if it was not the best bottle of the evening. The color is a quite bold yellow, leaning towards dark, but at the same time bright and lively. The aroma is incredibly local with its mix of ripe apple and cut grass, while the flavor is distinctly fresh, even if somewhat hesitant. All together a vintage that still has not fully expressed itself, in comparison to its older brothers.
