Vorberg 2006 Pinot bianco Riserva

This was the wine of the night. At first we opened a magnum that I though had some oxidation problems, although not everyone agreed. In the end, Beppe opened the last 750cc bottle he had in his cellar and it was a totally different story. An extraordinary wine with its scents of apple which paved the way for the aristocratic and well-defined ones of citrus fruits. The flavor was intense, weighty, upheld by a lively acidity that made you want to take long sips. If only there had been more!
