This, too, was a magnum bottle but being in excellent condition it did not have any problems. Compared to the 2006, I found this to be less glyceric, less muscular, perhaps a lesser vintage but a well-defined one. What made this different were some smoky sensations that enhanced the aroma. The taste was typical with a distinct minerality.
