Vorberg 1979

With a vintage like this one you can only fall to your knees in admiration and reverence. Aged ten years on the lees, this 1979 wine is a legend. Its floral and mineral components are almost aggressive and its flavor develops in a most amazing way. The mouthfeel does not betray its age because it is juicy with iodine and delicate nuances of peat. The progression is relentless with a complex finish of very fine spice, elder and pink grapefruit. You would almost think the wine is still young with a great potential to improve (!).
