Visellio 2008

This was a cooler year and so the wine is well-balanced, but also less complex. It has a vivid ruby colour of good intensity, with flashing purplish highlights. Its perfumes are intense and quite inviting, highly characterised by fruity, primary sensations of sour cherries, blood oranges and blackberries. In the background one finds notes of vanilla and faintly smoky tones. Serve it at 18°C, together with rigatoni all’amatriciana, panissa vercellese (meat and bean risotto) or braised meats.
