The product of a torrid drought year, it has a very deep, concentrated ruby colour. Its nose is ethereal and alcoholic, with notes of sour cherries in brandy and leather. It is full-flavoured, with warmth on the front palate and rather aggressive - slightly green - tannins, the result of the grapes becoming dehydrated. The finish is alcoholic and slightly bitter. Serve it at 20°C, so that the slightly warmer temperature can help soften the tannins. Accompany it with any kind of salami or sausages.
