A lighter version, in line with the vintage from which it comes. It has a lively, quite concentrated ruby colour. Its bouquet is intense and fairly ethereal, with some evolved notes and hints of tamarind and stewed plums. It is full-flavoured, with quite evident acidity; the tannins are a tiny bit coarser than in other vintages. It closes with a faint but noticeable bitterish aftertaste. Serve it at 18°C, accompanying it with spicy salted pork dishes, egg pasta with a meat sauce, or roast lamb.
