    It has a deep ruby colour with some garnet reflections. Its bouquet is appealing and alcoholic, with notes of sour cherry preserve and of tamarind, and with spicy hints underlying. Its flavour is full and rich in alcohol, with fairly well integrated tannins and a long, warming finish, in which the aftertaste has just a touch of bitterness. Serve it at 18°C with spicy salted pork dishes, goulash or braised oxtail.
