Vintage Tunina 2007

Made from 40% each of Chardonnay and Sauvignon grapes, the remainder being Picolit, Ribolla Gialla and Malvasia Istriana. Part of the Chardonnay matures in small French oak barrels. This is a great vintage of Tunina. It has a brilliant and lively straw yellow colour. Its aromas of ripe exotic fruit are inviting and varied, with precise notes of pineapple and mango and hints of fresh almonds and yellow peaches. Its flavour is rounded, deep, tangy and very persistent, with a long, warm and soothing finish. Serve it at 10°C with a scallop risotto, baked grouper or shellfish in general.
