A very intense and concentrated garnet- ruby. The bouquet is very intricate and complex, spices with scents of nutmeg, vanilla, black cherry and slightly smoky nuances. The taste is full but agile, with dense, velvety tannins which are not aggressive. The body is imposing but nicely supported by its acidity. A monumental vintage for this wine, one of the all-time best.
