A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo that ages for 18 months in barrels of different sizes. The wine has an intense, ruby-garnet color and a complex and broad bouquet with alternating balsamic aromas and notes of black cherry, currant and hints of tobacco. The mouthfeel has an excellent attack and is upheld by an acidity that refreshes it and makes the aromatic profile pleasing and agile. The finish is subtle and persistent.
