Vigneti Belisario 2002

This was another notorious year, perhaps the worst in history of wine in Italy. However, in the Marche region, as in Sicily, things actually went pretty good, even for the reds, a demonstration of how you can never generalize on a national scale. This Verdicchio is really good, its color is quite dark but its flavor has a surprising verticality and even its floral bouquet is splendid.
