The bouquet is that of an Alsace Riesling: citron, ginger and a touch of honey. Then comes the iron/spend coals note which brings you back to Breganze. The flavor is very complex with a tad of fruity sweetness (like the 2011) and that incredible energy, while the finish is juicy but broad. This is a bottle where the fruit and the minerality intertwine the best. It would be interesting to have a blind tasting with this and something Josmeyer. Better yet from André Kientzler.
