Whereas the 2009 was similar to the 2011, this 2008 is like the 2010 only less fruity. It is mineral without any sulfur, very clean, with a note of rosemary, and is also mineral to the palate, very lovely, salty. Perhaps it lacks a touch of fruit. There is almond paste and iron in the persistence. The energy and thrust are, as always, off the scale.
