Vigna Rionda “Dieci X Anni” 2000

This one is ready to drink now even if it has not reached its peak. The aroma is truly broad, whirling, with nuts, violets, a touch of secondary notes but without tar. The taste is nicely tannic, very rich and the finish is bold and relatively meaty, slow, deep, balsamic. There is not hint of oxidation or uncontrolled evolution to the nose or the palate. Really great. Good to at least 2020.
