This estate run by Paolo Bianchini has come out with a 20908 that is not only very interesting but that also has a different soul from previous years together with a double personality. The ruby color is of medium intensity and fades a little on the edge. The aroma has two souls that are amalgamated yet different with a fresh, slightly vegetal balsamic streak that reflects itself in the classic fruit aromas of ripe cherry and warm blackberry. Two souls but in perfect balance. The flavor is rich despite the year and has a nice weight to it even if the tannins are still young and lively. The mouthfeel is good with a texture that recalls raw wool but foresees a future of softness. Both souls in the aroma return in the finish.
