A dark, bright garnet-ruby color. The bouquet opens immediately with a certain warmth, distinctive and skittish to the nose (dry earth, bitter orange, dried prunes, tamarind and some spice), the attack is a little alcoholic but then it becomes full and coarse to the palate with a spicy (star anise), hot finish. With breathing it tends to get a little heavy.
