The first middleweight after four light heavyweights with quite a different body. Fresh and floral, with some limits to the fruit in the nose and substance to the palate, but they are still whole. The finish is the best: gaudy, vigorous, like a Chianti (tart/drying/ bitterish). We do not sense Predappio here, only the grape. Its drinkability is contagious, but terroir fans should take three points off our rating.
