One of the most wonderful Taurasi of all time. The color is a full, dark, concentrated and impenetrable red. The aroma has cherries under spirit, fine leather, black spices, coarsely ground pepper. Then there is a flash of laurel and medicinal herbs. The mouthful is amazing for how enormous it is,upheld by an excellent freshness and top-rate tannins. It almost seems like a manifesto of excess, in reality it is a wonderful combination of balance and austerity. One of the most outstanding wines in the while tasting.
