A Sangiovese with a small addition of Merlot that ages in barriques. The wine has a ruby color that leans towards garnet and an aroma that is still intense with notes of underbrush, rhubarb, leather and tobacco with a hint of dark fruit. The mouthfeel is elegant and very detailed with settled tannins and an acidity that offers drinkability and freshness.
