A blend of 80% Aglianico and 20% Piedirosso that ages for 12 months in Allier barriques. The wine has a deep, ruby color and a broad and complex aroma with scents of Marasca cherry and violet, balsamic tones and smoky nuances. The mouthfeel is broad with a slightly tannic attack due to the wine’s youth, and it is fresh, salty and vibrant with a persistent finish. Bottles produced: 14,000.
